Spam Filtering in Outlook Express

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Tools -> Message Rules -> Mail...
3. Mail rule window comes up
   • Check the "when subject contains" box
   • Check the "move to folder" box
   • Name the rule "Spam filter" at the bottom
4. Click the "contains specific words" link to bring up the dialog box; type in "***SPAM***", click the "Add" button.
5. Click the "OK" button
6. Click the "specific folder" link; choose or a create a new folder for spam to get filterd into and click "OK" button
7. Click the "OK" button again
8. Make sure your rule is correct, and press "OK". Click "Modify" if it needs to be edited and repeat these steps.
