Background Information

Once upon a time, around 1994, there was a BBS. This BBS was called "Garden of Stone". Then, the internet came, and this became "gos.nu". Then, sanity set in, and it became "vanitude.com". Humility never set in.

From those humble beginnings arose what is now the Vanitude.com network. A loose federation of machines that serve a small handful of our friends and family. Most of our users only use our reliable email, but there is much more going on behind the scenes.

Currently, vanitude.com has servers in Florida and Virginia, giving us great reliability. We're always looking for new friends so if you'd like to join us, please see the contact page.
